Anahit Mardirosian
Licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and owner
I see one person at a time, in one room, and I keep my schedule short so no one is hurried.
I opened this practice in Cranston, a few minutes south of Providence, for women going through the change. Many of my patients come in with a full list of symptoms and a worry that no one has time to hear it. I start by listening, then I plan visits with you around your work, your cycle if you still have one, and the care you already have. I write to your doctor if you ask me to, and I tell you plainly when something is a question for them.
What people come in for
- Hot flashes and night sweats
- Sleep that breaks or will not start
- A short fuse and low moods
- Aching joints and a stiff neck
- Tiredness and brain fog
- Cycles that have changed

How I work
I use fine, single-use needles and a small set of points, and I explain each step before I begin. You stay dressed in loose clothing, with sleeves and trouser legs rolled, and you can ask me to stop at any moment.
I do not diagnose, order tests or change medicines. If something you tell me needs a medical look, I say so and help you decide whom to call.
What stays the same at every visit
- I ask what you are taking and what has changed since last time
- I tell you what I plan to do before I do it
- I leave time for questions at the end
- I tell you when I think a visit is not what you need
